ELLEN MCAUSLAN in Jesson-Hill Film

Ellen played the role of the House Doll in a film collaboration with artists Angelica Jesson and Jaron Hill, Yorkshire Mesmac and Leeds museum; a celebration and exploration of Leed’s rich and yet often forgotten LGBTQ+ heritage.

Her role as the House Doll was part of an abstract interpretation of Lal Coveney’s life story as a feminist and lesbian living in Leeds in the 60’s and 70’s.
