Kirsti Heitmann moved from the artic landscape of rural Northern Norway to Liverpool in the fall of 2015, where she recently graduated from The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts with a BA in Acting. Kirsti speaks Norwegian, Swedish and English fluently, and has an affinity for picking up languages.
With a great curiosity for all thing’s performance and a thirst for learning, she frequently attends workshops in physical theatre, mask, clowning, devising, and stage combat. Her most recent workshop was with Emma Rice’s company “School of Wise Children”. In the future she aspires to expand her knowledge of screen acting and puppeteering.
She will appear as a Magical Elf in the Bakehouse production “Meadowhall Christmas” from November to December 2018, and as the Viking leader and traveller Aud the Deep Minded at Jorvik Viking Festival in February 2019.
As well as being an actor, Kirsti is passionate about being a theatre maker, and is the artistic director of a graduate company called LOFT. Their original show “Momo and the Inevitable Decay of the House in the forest” is heading to Edinburgh Fringe in 2019.
