Gemma began her training as a member of the Year Out Drama Company in Stratford-Upon-Avon. She then gained a BA(hons)Writing, Directing and Performance from the University of York and went on to achieve a Distinction in MA Acting at the Guildford School of Acting.

Since graduating Gemma has worked across theatre and film. She is a strong singer with experience in dance, physical theatre and Biomechanics. She also plays the Violin.
